Vaianu

Gabrielle showed us a foretaste, and it's the only time we ever flooded.
Orange and Red weather warnings = power kaput.
So what are NI simmers going to do tomorrow?

So what are NI simmers going to do tomorrow?

Well they appear mostly to have hidden under a rock, but in Auckland, the waters magically parted like the Red Sea and went by.
Mind you, more to come tomorrow from a different quarter.
This was the one that clobbered us last time after Gabrielle

Hamilton not really in the track of the storm so wasn't too worried, light rain and low level blustery winds over night. This morning tho has picked up energy here, wind and rain both picking up as it passed east of us out off the coast as of 1pm

More un-exciting reporting from the Tr0n later assuming power keeps up

It's all been a non-event here in NW Auckland. Nothing really over 30 kts and that was only for a few hours. Enough rain to water the garden well.

Yes, although I wouldn't want to live way out east, it's certainly veering off. Here's how the sim showed it at 1pm, and just now at 19:30. It's been gloomy here in the Hutt all day, and steady rain since the afternoon, but I don't think it'll get bad at any point.
