"whos online"

Postby Splitpin » Tue Apr 14, 2015 6:44 pm

Maybe its just me ... but when i look at the "who's here" thing ... and i see , for example ... 3 members (on a good day) .... 2 hidden , and x guests .... i have to think.
3 members ... that's good , x guests ... that's good as well , but who wants to hide ... that's creepy <_<
So .... if your a hider ..... please explain . Silly me ... you cant , because your hiding.
How odd social media has become , and shame on you people who design it  "hidden" should never be an option .... your on .... or your off ... hidden ... WTH! ...

80% off the day I'm online , I think that maybe something that has to be adjusted to show who is online , rather hidden spooks , I think that is already being looked into.

It maybe this (based on users active over the past 5 minutes) showing the listing ... 5 minutes is damn diddly swat ... maybe that is were it needs to be adjusted.

guys, guys, just relax. I looked down the bottom of the screen to see 'who' is on line and discovered that I was not online??? checked the profile page to find I had clicked on the "don't show online status" button. Can't say I'm back but can say I'm here now. Not A.W.O.L. at all. Hopefully you won't think I'm creepy :o . LOL. Cheers.

I wonder if it is possible to reverse the login till that person has signed out rather the other, minute counting , is that possible ?

I never, ever "Log Out" on any of my Site Forums, so providing that I don't close down the Site, I always appear "On line" there, even though I have opened another Site Forum to browse.

I don't see any point in; "Logging Out", in anything on my Computer.
I always stay "On line"....lots of folks to annoy!.... :D ...!

Every time I open one of the Forums, I am always welcomed, with my name already appearing at the top...or bottom....or in between!... :wink2: ...!

Paul....glued to the various Forums.... ...!

Oddlynuff, since the new forum, I have not seen Ian or Marty listed as 'Online', but I regularly see one hidden, sometimes two, and it is clear from actual posts in the forum that Ian , and/or Marty, were active just a couple of minutes before. Maybe it depends whose 5 minutes it is looking at...certainly seems to be something odd happening. If I post, I do not see it as a highlighted 'new post' - it is just the normal blue of a read one....

Cheers, Doug - I don't see these odd things as a problem, I get and receive PMs and so on...Marty and Ian seem to be special cases :givein:

I do get all PM's because I'm 'Spethall' :P , I get 3 mail yesterday morning , answered one , in helping out, got three more mails bounced back forward has I helped out each time I replied not a problem but it did not register the very earlier 2 PM sent , once replied to 1 and get returns four yesterday the first 2 got forgotten about .

Is there anyway it still registers unanswered messages keep on that hi-lighted strip show unanswered PM s are replied too .
