Yeah I just love that era of aviation. Got a Jaguar and Buccaneer now too but both will need new decals for what I want to do.

I do love British naval aviation but I drew the line at the RAF, at least for the moment. The main reason is space and the colour requirements for naval aircraft. The last thing I want to do is have to paint a Buccaneer all over white

Maybe if I went down the airbrushing route later on, I would look at Royal Navy aircraft.

Forgot the thread. A lot has happened in the last 4 years, but you can't just let this "rotten away". Today a look at German rarities from the 2nd World War.

Messerschmitt Bf.109T-0
The TK+HM was a prototype for a Bf 109E based prototype carrier fighter on the carrier "Graf Zeppelin" which was never completed. The landing gear, which was always a cause for trouble with the Bf 109, and the catch hook were new. The wing has also been increased. According to the documents I have here, a total of 68 T-0 and T-1 machines were built. They were used on land in Norway. As far as I know, their trail disappears in mid-1944.

Heinkel He 100D-0
This plane is one of the few that flew on behalf of propaganda. The painting was pure fiction and so Goebbels newsreels suggested that the Bf 109 had a successor. In the Battle of Britain there were also some reports where a He 100 or a He 113 (propaganda fake for the He 100D) was said to have been shot down.
