Gary
Not sure yet, Gary. I think he wanted the dust to settle a bit after Christmas before he even thought about it! I'll dig out the pics I created for Trademe a while back (and forgot!).

My memory cells went AWOL many moons ago
Anyway ... here goes (at last!!):
1) OM-10 body (plus case). Pretty clean/tidy, but has flat batteries so can't test the shutter etc.
2) OM-2 body - has working battery. Slightly "used" condition. I may just hang on to this one.
3) Standard 50mm 1:1.8 Zuiko lens (currently on the OM-10).
4) Standard 50mm 1:1.4 Zuiko lens (currently on the OM-2). I may just hang on to this one.
5) 28mm 1:2.8 wide angle lens (Vivitar).
6) 35mm 1:2.8 wide-angle lens (Zuiko).
7) 80-210mm 1:3.8 zoom lens (Tamron). Bit battered but works fine.
8) 80-200mm 1:4.5 zoom lens (Vivitar). Good condition.
9) Assorted U/V filters etc. (all 52mm I think).
10) A few flash units - odds and sods.
As far as I can see, none of the lenses have any mildew or other defects, though I haven't look *that* closely.
Believe it or not, I didn't even realise I had 2 bodies (!!!).Shows you how long it is since I lasted used them! So ... I may just hang on to one of them (with lens) - items (2) and (4) - though I'm not sure why(sentimentality, I expect).
I'll put the lot into a pile and take a pic. Do you need any more info - or want a close-up of any of that gear?Last edited by Adamski on Fri Jan 01, 2010 9:25 pm, edited 1 time in total.
pilot.masman wrote:QUOTE (pilot.masman @ Jan 1 2010, 10:42 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>im right in thinking the om-10 takes LR44 1.5V batteries??. if it does then thats good i just ordered a bulk pack of them as my pentax takes them also
LR44's sound familiar - I took out the ones from the camera - V675A:
The quote below is from this link:
"Power source : Two 1.5V silver oxide batteries Eveready S-76
or equivalents or alkaline manganese batteries LR 44"
... and here's the camera in question (without any of the other "junk":
Looking at that link,I've just realised that the OM-10 can take a manual adapter which I used to have (I had another OM-10 body before this one). I'll need to see if I can find it!Last edited by Adamski on Sat Jan 02, 2010 12:04 am, edited 1 time in total.
pilot.masman wrote:QUOTE (pilot.masman @ Jan 2 2010, 01:27 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>How about the body, the Zuiko W/A lens and the Vivitar zoom??
Dont really need flash, as the flash clip is standard amoungst most SLR's so my current ones should fit.
Oh and the UV filters, any scratches or marks?
OK ... the package is:
1) OM-10 body (plus case).
2) Standard 50mm 1:1.8 Zuiko lens.
3) 35mm 1:2.8 wide-angle lens (Zuiko).
4) 80-210mm 1:3.8 zoom lens (Tamron). Bit battered but works fine. I decided to hang on to the Vivitar zoom
The only spare filter I could find was a grey graduated one. Could've sworn I had more - but I may have given them to teenage daughter no.2.
Should we take this to PM?
Chairman wrote:QUOTE (Chairman @ Jan 2 2010, 11:57 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Looks like I'll be whipping down to Tauranga tomorrow (Sunday).
If there's anything ready to go (that doesn't include my F601, I haven't found that yet), and if Sam's on the right side of town, I could deliver it ... Let me know here or by pm by about 10am ?
Cheers
Gary

pilot.masman wrote:QUOTE (pilot.masman @ Jan 3 2010, 08:41 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>well as long as your both ok with the situation then im happy to sit around at home waiting
ill probably be out this morning but back in the afternoon from 12 onwards.
So ... what happened?
To tell you the truth, I'm most disappointed that a member of NZFF couldn't even be bothered to respond. Both Chairman and myself went to a fair bit of trouble to try and help you out. As far as I know, he dropped the gear off with your mum at lunchtime on Saturday. I've not heard a thing from you.
I don't mind casual, I don't mind informal - but this is just downright *rude*. We all have mobile phones and email, so there's no excuse (these days).
Normally, I would have PM'ed you but I'm more than slightly brassed off about this.Last edited by Adamski on Wed Jan 06, 2010 7:24 pm, edited 1 time in total.
pilot.masman wrote:QUOTE (pilot.masman @ Jan 7 2010, 11:13 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>sorry bud, havent been able to check the camera or lenses because it relies on batteries to work (including making the viewfinder clear which was a bit strange) batteries arrived today with a a flood of mail left over from New Years no post zone.
ill give it a check now. i have actually been away most of the time at my sisters, i think i told you by PM. (just checked and it was too chairman, sorry). ill give it a go over and get back to you by pm.
Well - you missed the big Maori "search party" by a whisker! These guys lift pianos with two fingers!
I'll wait to see what pops into my PM inbox
