Kalashnikov dead at 94

The original AK 47 was good in one point. There was no stoppage of the gun. In mud, in Rain, under circumstances an G3 or an M16 was out of order, the Kalashnikov still firing. The range was about 350 Meters, but at this it was inacurate. No two AKMS are the same. First if you got a new weapon, you must see if she is steering to the left or the right and then compensate. A lot of adjusting and maintenance was nessesary to get a real good AKMS. After one year i have a really good weapon, but than came the AK 74M. The AK 74 was more sensitive. We good two accidents with this. On guard and in mission I have prefared my old weapon AKMS and never used the new AK 74. No one from us did.
