....and during my stop at the Bike meeting in the Bus Station Park at Abergavenny, I did a walk around and videoed the Bikers and their Bikes.....>>>

This was followed by my return journey back to Hereford in the preceding video.

A grand day out, altogether, in the early Spring sunshine!

I hope you enjoyed the whole trip!

Just a little fun snippet from today's short journey!

...with added music...>>>

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkIsuZi-bcI&t=15s

I have my Microphone fitted inside my helmet for recording sounds on my Video Camera (SJ Cam 4000), but unlike my American Biker Chums, I am not very good at "talking" endlessly! (Moto-blogging!), during my trips, and describing the scenery, etc, as it passes by.
...or just chatting away, about anything and everything whilst riding!.... ;) ....!
Which is why I always have to "text-narrate" my journeys on the film during editing, or in this case, add music instead!

Each time I go out for a video ride I constantly try to find a location on me, or my Bike, for my Mic, just to pick up my exhaust/engine sound, and avoid picking up wind noise at the same time!

Still haven't found the ideal location for the Mic yet!

Paul.... :D ....!

....an excellent example of "Moto-Blogging" by Freedom Rider in Massachusetts (New England).

Ta Log!.... :D ....!

The thing I like about my You Tube "Motobloggers" is listening to the sound of their Harley Davidson big-twin exhausts as they ride.

I just wish I could get a similar sort of exhaust sound from my Honda Twin but without all the wind noise, and me coughing and spluttering that goes with it!

Maybe, if I poke my Microphone up the rear-end, (where the Sun dont shine!), of my exhaust pipes?..... ..... ....!

...of course, it may sound better if I really had a Harley Davidson Big Twin in the first place... ...!

Maybe some of the Riders use cameras, Go-Pro, Sena, etc, that have built-in filters, to prevent recording extraneous noises/sounds?

Even tho' I have a "fluffy" cover over my Mic, (like the pro's use), it still picks up wind noise, when on the move!

Still got lots of experiments to do with Microphone placement... :? ...!

Maybe I should wrap me, and my Mic, in a woolly blanket?.... ....!

...... ....!

My latest trip from Hereford to Pembridge Village, and Shobdon Airfield (EGBS) on the 8th of April 2017.

A beautiful sunny day in Herefordshire!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZ-bKyC4Y8A

I did take a few photos around the Airfield, but with "Elf and Safety" restrictions abounding, there always a chance of getting a tap on the shoulder by a Hi-Viz jacketed security individual!

With everything fenced-off, very little chance of wandering around the Aircraft on the ground!

...a shame, for a small airfield. I remember it never used to be like it in the distant past!

Hello two-wheeler + three-wheeler Chums.... :D ....

Last Sundays (23rd April 2017) excursion to Abergavenny to meet up with the Bikers...>>>

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-kakRf90sc&t=199s

It was a long day, and lots of miles altogether, but this is just a short clip leaving the Bus Park, on the way to the Royal Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire....
...and my fascination with the owner of the Harley Davidson "Panhead" bike who was desperately trying to kick-start his bike, as Harley Panhead owners are generally/mostly accustomed to suffer....
...together with Knucklehead, Flathead, and Shovelhead owners.... ;) .... ....!
A big-old-motor to turn over!

The timeline of these old V-Twin beasts!....>>>>>

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harley-Da ... e_timeline

Now, we have the luxury of Electric Start!.... ....!

It was a nice sunny day, although still rather cool for the time of year!

Daisy, my trusty Honda Rebel cruiser, completed the trip with nary a hiccup!

I hope you enjoy my trip, and the little bit of fun!

Well spotted, Ian!.... :D ....!

Good observation!

Its a funny old do, but I associate "Watering Holes" with drinking and driving/riding, so I tend not to use them on my travels, to ensure retaining my Driving/Riding Licence!
For sustenance, en-route, I generally take some home-made sandwiches, and a small bottle of fizzy pop with me... ...!

Getting bugs, rain-drops, etc, on the camera lens would be an unfortunate disaster which would spoil the whole video, and not spotted until it was too late and the journey was completed!!... :( ....!

The camera is attached to my helmet, and the condition of the lens cant be observed whilst riding.

Even the fact that it is actually recording sometimes involves some wishful thinking!.... .... ....!

Many thanks for watching my videos, Ian....Much appreciated, and make it worthwhile!... ....!

Over that past couple of years I have acquired a great affection for big, narrow-angle, Vee-Twins; Harley-Davidson, Victory, Indian, Rice-Burner vee-twins, etc, with their lazy, low-revving, high-torque engines.
Indeed, most of my You Tube watching, involves such machines and their riders; (Subscribed on my You-Tube Channel).

My days of; "ear-oling" around the countryside at high-speed on my sports Motorbikes are long past now.... :o .....I just want to slowly cruise, and admire the countryside now.....and live longer!.... ....!

...the sure sign of "Getting Old".... :wink2: ... ....!

Many thanks again, Ian....and everyone else watching this 2-wheeled space!.... :D ....!

....an alternative to Aeroplanes.... ...!

More stuff to come!... ....!
