G’day guys.

As some of you know I run an acrylic design and fabrication company called redfusion.

We are currently restructuring the company and will soon be launching a home, kiwiana, kids and education range. As part of this range we are planning to produce a number of shape ‘outlines / cutouts’ along various themes, a number of which I though (for obvious reasons) could be aeroplanes.

I suppose my questions to you guys are.

• What do you think?
• Is it something you’d be interested in if you happened across something like this in a shop with no prior knowledge?
• What ‘angle' do you think would work best? i.e. from above, from the side, an oblique angle (bear in mind there will be no detailing – just a ‘silhouette’)
• What aircraft would you like to see? I thought – Hercules, Spitfire, P51, Lancaster....... Any others that would work well?

Thanks for any input you can provide. It’s always good to get feedback from independent people.

Finally, are any of you guys skilled artists or graphic designers, experienced and competent with Corel or Illustrator? We’re currently looking for someone and I always like to make these requests within the ‘community’ I belong.

Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Launching a home, kiwiana, kids and education range , ? I'd go to the 3d model range .

I,m handy with CorelDraw , currently use 9 , art and graphic design , concept drawing and worked using CAD/CAM engineering programs but art was my more favourable side .

The latter 3D models .. I have a Space Shuttle that regular visited Airshows and Schools , couple displays at Science Alive , Its stands about 3 meters (8/9 ft) from tail .

Free hand drawing , comic type style i guess , Corel would be handy for this . A new format maybe .. a great NZ War Hero .

Oh i do have an interest in NZ Aviation , and the other one Flightsim smile.gif
