Got the camera out a bit late, most of the snow had already been removed by one poor buggar wearing shoes made from spider's legs and brandishing a cold war era broom, so not quite as dramatic but still interesting.
Have to check the APU inlet is clear before starting! As the snow melts or slides down the fuselage it can get sucked into the APU intake and cause it to cough and splutter a bit...

Simply do what the , or some Russians do .......... plane load off Ice and Snow ...... go the opposite end off the runway (tailwind) ..... use that one point five kilometers off runway? .... then put the brakes on ! .................................. the snow and ice breaks and clears the wing .. turn into the wind , and off you go !
