I wonder how long till I see these somewhere like Oulton Park or Cadwell! looks very cafe racer(ish) to me!
I dont think there are any here in NZ yet.....looks great...except for those odd looking (i assume) hydraulic reservoir's sticking up on the bars.

Yes those reservoirs look rather odd. The gold beer cans on the rear shocks you could live with !!

DB Export came to mind when i saw the rear end....but as you said, its livable.
Heres my old girl from way back....now being loved by someone else ....74 850, just had the single front disc and rear drum....quite a small machine by todays standards, but was good for 120mph.
It just took 2 days to stop the thing at that speed![]()

Well.....a guy i know here in chc is about to take charge of a VMAX ....what a brute of a thing, but i think you and i would just become parachutes on it Ian![]()

Jeeze the old V-Max aye, hell of a thing, great in a straight line, hopeless when it gets bendy, although better than a Harley
The V-Max's seem to be even heavier than some of the Harleys, although there on the same par as the B-King!!! Although the Harleys don't half handle well around Oulton or Cadwell, running on par with the British Superbike teams time wise!

Dude, lets be clear here, you're talking about race modified Harleys here, not street machines, and the XR1200s in that series are a long way off the BSB lap times at those tracks arent they? at least 30secs a lap by my reconning, certainly "not on-a-par".

Hmmm i'm willing to give it a go .. Out the back of Canterbury .... i'll push it !
