There was a very interesting documentary on TV3 late Saturday night, revealing evidence that the whole September 11th "Terrorist" attacks where planned and performed by the US Goverment!

I saw footage showing that the twin engined jet aircraft that crashed into the Twin Towers had 'long thing objects' attatched to the bellys of thier fuselarges (proberly missile launches), and that seconds before they struck the buildings, there was a bright flash (proberly the missile being fired), that reflected in the planes fuselarge, and when paused, I could actually put my finger on the TV screen between the definite distance between the planes body and the bright flash, meaning that the bright flash was not actually from the aircraft's initial impact!!!

Also George Bush claimed "he had seen the first plane hit the World Trade Center". But unless he had some special access to the events of that day, he could not have seen the first plane hit the tower live on commercial television, since no television stations were covering that area when the first plane hit.

There is heaps more proof, such as reports 'Flight 93' which allegedly crashed into a field in Pennsylvania, landed safely at Clevedon airport in Ohio, and that cell phone calls made from the aircraft that crashed would have been impossible because there would have been no signal that high up in the air etc...

The doco was summarized pretty well, by explaining the reason for the whole attacks on their own country. The US are the worlds biggest super power, with other large country's such as China being their biggest trading parter, and with Bush and Putin of Russia being good friends.

Everyone knows that war makes money, and there is no better way to keep all the US arms manufacturers in business, then attacking their own country, getting the public suspicious of some far away Arab nation which they have little knowledge of, then starting a war with them which will require thousands of guns, aircraft, tanks etc to be built.

Anyhow, I am now extreamley skeptical towards the whole situations and I'd be very interested to hear other NZFF members opinions on the subject.

i'm a natural skeptic (maybe a realist?) so i roll my eyes at the thought of any conspiracy. 9/11 is no different. the documentaries are good at only pointing out facts which support their cases, and using poor quality images to prove their cases. often, their cases are built on ignorance- like saying "the towers must be demolished with extra fuel because when an aircraft hits a building, the flames don't go out." how would they know what a plane hitting a building would look like?

people who make stuff like this up sit in their basements wearing tin foil hats so the government can't use their mind reading satellites. or they just do it to get a bit of attention. personally, i think it's sad that people would try to fabricate stories like that, it seems to spit on the graves of the thousands who died.

Thats interesting never seen that flash in those photos before but I doubt that it is a weapon of any kind. Looks to me like a reflection of the sun on the nose.(the aircrafts fuel load/mass and momentum alone was enough to destroy the buildings, the idea actually came from a book by Tom Clancy I think) There is more controversey in this incident if you watch Farenheight 911 as Bin Ladens family had connections with the President. Actually if you watch Farenheight 911 you'll see exactly where the President was when this happened he was at a school at the time. The only photo there that is strange is the one of the aircraft that hit the Pentagon as it does not look like an Airliner and also some witnesses claimed that it was a Lear jet on TV. Theorys aside it was certainly a sad day in history.

I was chatting to my neighbour a few weeks back about this he was in NY when it all happened and was due to pilot a corporate jet to chicago but was grounded due to the events of that morning.

He was telling me that the whole bullcrap story that a misslie had hit the Pentagon instead of a plane was totally un-true because people driving along the 8 lane interstate that runs not far from the pentagon had light post that got shorter on an angle in the direction of the crash site and you cant tell me a missile can take the tops off several lamp posts in row as cleanly as they were.

I can only put it down to USA attention seeking again just like the whole "Man On The Moon" argument.

Conspiracy theories can be a little tedious because they all tend to have the same premise: the gummint is hiding something and may even have had something to do with it.
Even Pearl Harbour 1941 has a juicy conspiracy theory attached to it.

I don't really like to believe conspiracy theories. It takes too much thinking.

And I don't really like political topics such as these in forums because things can get very heated very quickly.

Yeah always take them as a grain of salt.

What a load of Bollocks. The pod and missle theory is just ridiculous. Think about it. How would you covertly attach a pod and missle to a commercial aircraft at an international airport ??

Just people with too much free time to match anecdotal evidence to attemp to support their crazy stories.
