Was the power line place in before the field or the other way around , was an example of a house in a new development era in the US just recent , the house had not been moved into and the grounds were being completed around the existing driveway , now comes the street lighting or this again could have been the other way around .. they place had the street lamp directly in front , the middle of access to the garage

Whichever way that works, one might be forgiven for thinking that a little thought would be given to obstacles at either end of the runway. If the runway went in after the powerlines, how hard would it be for someone to go "Gee, having powerlines that close to the end of a runway is a stupid idea - perhaps we should arrange to have them underground at that point". I know - costs and all. How much did it cost to replace the aircraft that just face-planted? More than putting the lines underground for a couple of hundred metres I'd wager. But maybe the problem is the rampant red tape in the US - I've heard that it's as least as bad as here, worse in some places. Perhaps there is a small den of gophers living where the lines would go underground, and the EPA said "Nein!". Because as well all know, animals are far more important than people, right?

What do you mean by that and how did you reach that conclusion?

I spent 25 years in the USA and never came across paperwork meaning more than life.

Thats a mighty unfortunate place to have an airstrip / lines. Should have been flying a helicopter, wouldnt have needed to go into the strip like that at all.
