May not be of interest to all viewers but certainly a big leap for control of autonomous pilot-less planes. Fascinating viewing, especially the final sequence when the 2m plane is flying round in an indoor parking garage with around 50cm clearance on sharp turns - all controlled by an on-board processor rather than a remote pilot.

What will this mean for the future I wonder, will the US predator series become fully automatic in both flight ans selection of targets??

Hmm , i believe ive seen these a lot smaller , like Hunter flying a mini sized helicopter around Mount Space Shuttle only to crash land in the fur forest called Marsbar

True, but it was Hunter flying it, not the machine itself . .. whole different game --- and this one didn't crash!

Aye Marty , this is something the EQC boys could used ! or even now checking before walking in .

They used a Parrot quadricopter - the one controlled by iPhone - to survey the cathedral after the February quake.
These things are going to become part of our everyday experience quite soon I think.

I am surprised how light and easy they do work and appears wind gusts have no affect on them which is a main prob with the very light RC models .
