Anyone able to view any of the Avsim Fora?

Since yesterday (mid-morning) I have been unable to access any of the Fora using either Firefox or IE. Have had no problems downloading from the Avsim library (d/l'd the new AI repaint of NZ-MVA last night) and every other (non-Avsim) fora I visit shows up fine. Just no Avsim.

Weird.

Okay for me at the moment....12.15PM.

Getting the following:

" The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."

Have checked Network Connection and Web access. Okay.
Have turned the modem off and then back on (several times).
Have deleted Firefox History and all cookies (again several times).
Have emptied my Tmp folder.
Have flushed the DNS cache.
Have tried both No Proxy and Auto-Detect Proxy settings.

But still no access to Avsim. It's got me stumped.

I have Avsim bookmarked and go thru the home page, i.e. not straight into the forum.

Try this url....I am still having no trouble using this method.

Might be a West Coast connection problem.

Yep, we're a long way apart....unfortunately I am a long way off being a techy nerd, that exhausts my
IT skills, good luck...

I don't normally visit AVSIM , just checked my bookmarked page , other than forgot my password got in all topics without a prob .

Been in contact with my ISP and after an extensive series of pings/trace searches et cetera have determined the problem lies with my IP address being blocked by Avsim.

My IP address is static; will turn off the modem tonight for 12 hours to see whether it creates a new address upon start up ... if not, well ...

Can access Avsim via zendproxy, of course, but that exposes this rig to all manner of security issues.
