It did happen in the 50s a formation of those flew over the white house I read it in a book. Videos there and theres more than one there I cannot identify them so technically they are unidentified(although I suspect I know what they are lol).

Yep, that Jerusalem one was one of the more interesting ones from last year. Most noteworthy is the location whatever it was that decided to "visit". I'm sure there are quite a number of hoaxes and natural-yet-unexplainable-due-to-lack-of-sufficient-information UFOs that happen all the time. Yet, there is still enough truly odd stuff that defies explanation. I think once one moves beyond the limited world-view that unidentified flying objects need to be "nuts and bolts" alien vessels, and one begins to conscience the possibility of inter-dimensional beings, all sorts of questions become moot (like the "breaking the laws of physics" thing that many people get hung up on) and some disturbing scenarios become viable.
Science can only take us so far: our universe isn't able to be interpreted through 4-dimensional science alone. Heck, even quantum physicists acknowledge that there are at least 10 dimensions: but the other 6 currently reside outside of more than a very rudimentary understanding (as in, we know they exist) by science. And while Men in Black may jest with cracks like the "light of venus reflecting off swamp gas", lame explanations like balloons with lights on them don't cut it either (one we need exceptionally still air and very nimble powered balloons to effect such precision alignments, at night). I guess it's a win-win for "the military industrial complex". If they ARE testing very advanced flying vehicles, ones that would get us asking "How did you get such advanced vehicles" or even "where did the money come from", when people mis-identify such craft as alien-style vehicles the MIC can't lose. They let it play as an alien-UFO, most people are skeptical and it's largely dismissed. They play the "swamp gas" story, the UFO-ologists get stuck into it, make a "documentary" about it, look a bit foolish, and most people remain skeptical and dismiss it. Even if they fall back on the "MIC conspiracy" thing, where people think it's a new advanced aircraft but the MIC won't confirm or deny, it all still adds to the general haze, daze and confusion around the whole thing, making it far easier to carry on whatever's actually going on.
One thing I'm 100% sure of: one way or another, we WILL find out (largely) what this is all about within the next 20 years. And I'm putting good money on us not liking the answer...

Well with military test aircraft the pattern is generally the aircraft are kept secret until such time as they have something better and then they release some info on it. For example the F117 was around since the 70s but no knowledge was released officially by the US until the Gulf war eventhough a couple had crashed a few years earlier. By then they were already working on the F/A-22 and B2 and were rumoured to be working on some other hypersonic aircraft. The story behind the F117 is quite good as is the SR71,U2 etc those aircraft were designed and built during the cold war which alot of people now days know very little about. Now days we still have a need for such aircraft and technology so long as its not in the wrong hands and used the wrong way and it is necessary because there are countrys that are catching up with the US in some of the high technology that is used for stealth fighters and weapons in order to counter it if such a situation should occur. As for extra terrestrials I take that as a grain of salt, there are some really good storys out there about such things and its technology being reverse engineered but aside rumours and tons of misinformation generally alot of such sightings could be put down to test aircraft which is what I suspect with the above sighting. Because a similar sighting was filmed during the day last year and it regularly happens in the states which is how a guy filmed it and then a news cameraman fimed it.
