Posted: Thu Jan 11, 2007 10:44 pmMy mates brother works at Telecom and apparently they have ordered 1100 laptops by mistake from Dell- they only wanted 110 but made a mistake with the extra 0 and Dell wouldn't take them back so now they are selling them off for $799 from any telecom store- specs are: 1.8ghz, 512mb ram, 40gb hard drive, dvd writer
Get em while you can, all the telecom staff got a mailer from head office and apparently ran out to buy the laptops on their breaks. My mate, his mum, his auntie and his brother all have one and apparently they are dam good (if a laptops what you are looking for!)
I would buy one myself if I could afford it but unfortunately I cant
