Looks like Merpati need to go back to the drawing board. Must of been a real thumper.



Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Ouch! I guess it's a MA-60? Thought it was a Dash 8 at first glance but no T Tail

I do like the title "New Indonesian Rotor / tilt wing" laugh.gif , Just to prove it dose not happen to regular airline pilots , recall a display at a Farnbourgh airshow and a test/display pilot dose the near very same thing with a DH Buffalo .

Look at it this way ... least they did'nt have to roll the stairs out for it rolleyes.gif

Yeah that's the one , got gradual still photo and a break off what went wrong here , guess the MA-60 was'nt handled this way .. maybe just one of those very heavy Welly landings

CP your byline was never more apt - you could link it to that clip...
I gave him 50-50 as he made the final turn.

I would've been cranking out those flaps myself, in the last 15 seconds or so.
Easy to say after the fact I know, but I've done it in the sim plenty of times, and gotten away with it!
