Tonight i was stocking the book cases in my cave , and noticed that a copy of his autobiography is signed and dated 1967 the year the book was printed. He passed away in 1973 (82)
Is there way to authenticate the signature ? I got the book as part of a box full of WW1 aviation books at a garage sale some time ago.

Is the signature printed on the book or an actual signage ? .. many publications simply printed , I have one book here for example , signed by Norman Franks and I brought it on its release - using the art glass you can see the pressure on the back off the page and pick out evidence on the next page.

It appears to be ink (not printed) i can bring it over some time and you can examine it.

That would be great, I'm sure it will be personally signed, easy to check with light.
