Also, as the Tu-114 was derived from the Tu-95, guess what the fastest airliner was for a while!

Finally, to add to the Tupolev speed demons...

Since the retirement of the VC-10 and the Concorde from airline service, the Tu-154 is currently the world's fastest jetliner still in airline service.

Back in my old FS9 Classic, I once set up a SARO Princess for AI, using a Tu-114 soundset, then formated on it in the JBK Bristol Brabazon, just to see what it sounded like

Two classic photos I have here, one at Farnbourgh Airshow debut , have an article on how they might use it even with double hulls and in that book has one coming up on a slipway and it seems the water shrunk it

Those Bears are still in service after all these years and still violating NATO/Japanese air space lol...and who thought this stuff would end with cold war although the main difference is NATO pilots probably do not share their Playboy centrefolds since you can buy those in Russia too.

Lineage from the Boeing B29/TU-4 copy, Antonov Ilyushin even inherited many features from the Boeing, makes it funny its the counterpart to the B-52.
