This is way off topic , but its got's me so bloody angry . My olds are getting harassed by some"so called" heat pump service guy .... they (they olds) just called me very upset about 3 calls from this guy . Their heat pump will be checked on thursday by the agents , its not working , as you know.
This prick told them he has a cheque from them for their last service .... they never used him .
When he rang them the third time , the old man gave him a blast .... which was followed by another call from this waster saying he knows where they live and he's watching them ...WTH.
I told them (the olds) not to worry .... but i do . Im going to get them a phone that can support caller I.D .... WTH , 80 year olds .

I may have just found a use for that "favor" owed to me (another post) if i can find out where this scum bucket is .... you can mess with me as much as you like , but dont mess with my family .... you wont win , trust me. angry.gif

Marty, that's a police matter - and tell the genuine agents what is going on, they could well know this villain.
Here in Oz, there is a Do Not Call register, but for conmen like this, Telstra provides an intercept service - every call to your number is redirected to a human operator, who gets the caller's details before ringing you and asking if you want the call; if you are not home, they leave a message asking you to ring to get those details.
Pretty sure there will be the same thing on your side of the ditch.
Of course, if that fails, you know some other folk who might help...
ATB, and take care.

Speaking professionally from working for a few companies that service heat pumps (Yes my call center does A LOT of stuff) I can say this doesn't sound right, it's not how they operate. I would contact the police and also possibly Internal Affairs who run our Scam Watch programme.

On a personal note, I agree with the bouncing elephant, kneecap the so & so...

Marty get your old's to right down details , get them to phone the Police then contact you to phone the Police to back up the concern, this will really speed things up.

I went though this regard to the convicts as you no and the good thing is the street is now constantly monitored, that will die down fact is live has returned to normal.

RULE: any little gesture, threat .. call the Police ! ..... Its what got thing moving for me.

Sorry i was a bit late to the converstaion.

The police idea is the best really. although i am sure smashing his head in would be quite nice too. although then he can get the police.

I hope u get it sorted Marty

Do you know what....

I am really surprised that you NZ Chaps appear to suffer rather a lot of criminal toe-rags amongst your population.

I am curious (as usual) as to what "society" they originate from?
.....(opening a can of worms).... winkyy.gif ...!

I have always imagined NZ as being close to our afternoon Tea and Crumpets, English Society.

Maybe I am wrong?

Parts of Australia also seem to suffer from the same problem.

Paul....peace and tranquillity in my part of the World.... thumbup1.gif ...!

Thanks Ej , the olds are a bit reluctant to involve the police (dont want to make waves dry.gif ) , but Ive already done it . But they need to do it as well otherwise we have no case.
Smashing the guys head wont achieve much .... as much as i would like to , so I'll leave it to the law ....if, i can get the olds to complain as well.
Arghhh .... parents .
