Picked the little bugger up from the overnight place at dark o'clock this morning , and parted out another $200 , down to the day vet later for a check . Took him home , and then back to the day vet this evening to have his I.V line taken out . Hes good , eating like a horse , but not to keen on me at the moment , he's moved into the new flatmates room (a cat lover) so she will give him his medication until he likes me again .
Im waiting until he's up and about before i give him the bill's .... ahhh well , you do what you do , no regrets here .....just gave Whitney another check ... so far so good
Just a little aside .... when i was waiting at the overnight place , an SPCA guy came in with 8 tiny little "labradoodle " pups in a box (they had been rescued)...each one just a handfull. He asked if i could help put them in couple of cages out the back becuase the other staff were busy .... i tell you what , i came so close to bringing one home , but then i saw Pratt looking at me from his bed ..... with a knife between whats left of his teeth
