Had a great day today , until 20 minutes ago. Had a call from a mates wife to let me know he died this morning.
Not sure what to think , he just wished me happy birthday last night . We knew each other since our late teens , and served together.
Bugger.

Its a sobering thought, that after each of my Birthdays, more and more of my old workmates and school chums which I fondly remember, are passing away year by year.
My old World from my past is slowly disappearing around me, leaving me behind!

...its getting lonelier!

I don't dwell into it, spose its handy to close myself away, .. Memory and dedications are the better part, ..... strange I had more feeling for an animal than any human, guess its real life , may sound cold , but I turn it around and biggest thing is I can follow and remember the names in my brain case, they will never get forgotten.

Do you know what!.... winkyy.gif .....

Its a fantastic, mid-September day, with a clear blue sky, and a lovely warm Sun beaming down on me, and as I rode to Sainsbury's Supermarket on my trusty motor-bike to get some tasty food-shopping for Dinner, with a massive grin beaming from ear to ear, and everyone who saw me, and caught my eye, smiled back at me with an equally big smile!

"Smiling" is catching!.... biggrin.gif ...!

A truly wonderful feeling, and a wonderful day to be alive!... cool.gif ...!

Paul.... biggrin.gif ...!

P.S...my glass (or three) of Cabernet Sauvignon is making my grin even wider!.... clapping.gif ...!
