poo.gif Seems that while i have been grumbling about wasting money on a bit of half arsed software , my old man is turning finals .
I saw him last night and he didn't look to flash , but i put it down to a long day. Had a call from my mum while i was posting , he's not to good at all .... still at home , but with a nurse.
Seems the drugs he's on are not working .
Sorry to bother you with all with this , but my family is so dysfunctional i dont have anyone else to vent to.
What a shite of a month ..... tell you what , on the 30th Im going to tie one on .... big time , and wish this bloody month good riddance .

May be away for a while ....

One off the biggest things and most people don't realize it , a "family is so dysfunctional" is exactly they are in and they don't see it ... I lived alone and been there really since ... last century, I come to the fact my sharing and knowledge and people asking for it adds to so I don't need the .. "The Family" I've been conditioned since early 1970s think that is were I get so targeted on fave subjects - warfare aircraft and warships, bleed that now into artwork.

Sorry to read of the sad news Marty. A distressing time for you all.
My partner and I are now starting down the track of advanced care for her elderly parents.
Enjoy the remaining time with your Dad.

Not being able to see , that would really scare me, I only hope they really do a good show for him, maybe a rooftop viewing least only to hear the sound .

The C-17 was a little late , but he did get to hear it .... good on the USAF thumbup1.gif Along with still being at home , it made his day.

Little late and nothing to the display, just a typical approach in over CHCH at 3000 ft , nothing like it was back in 2007 .. Greg stopped thru with all the camera gear , we both thinking it was to be a more aggressive display which was done recent after EQs .. I clicked 2007 - It would have been the 50 anniversary of the USAF/USN arrival to Christchurch back in 1957.

Arrr Grumpy posts make happy posts later, gives you a start to look back , tell ya what , the air temp with that slight breeze got to be quite biting , I was lucky raced inside and put a hat on and jacket .. it was the standing and waiting ... pity it was a quiet cruise pass and a plop directly into NZCH ... think they are saving a display for Oct 5th .. apparently they are to do a small display.
