This may be of interest to some here. 'Vincent' is a well known name in Oz and NZ aviation, but I don't know if this gentleman is from that family.

Most places in NZ would be closer than Alice Springs, for me as well as you ....

It is good to have that on record. I do some work at a museum in Bris-bunn, focused on the 'convict era' from 1824-1842. We are finding it hard to establish just when Moreton Bay Penal Colony became the town of Brisbane - there must have been legal instruments to make that happen, and they were probably enacted in 1840-1842. Now, finally a aircraft graveyard has opened in YBAS (Alice Springs Airport), what if I suggest that a ANZ 737 shall go to that aircraft graveyard, how about that?
