angry.gif Ok , went to start the bm the other day after about 2 weeks sitting , no go . All the lights come up , but turn the key and nothing ...and all the lights went out.
Took the battery out got it charged , just got it back , full charge , hooked it up ...same bloody thing .
If i disconnect the leads and re attach them , it all lights up again , but turn the key and its dead .
Any ideas .... im getting so sick of this money pit , I'll never get back what Ive spent , and really pisses me off ... but anyway.
Cheers jellyspoons dry.gif

Damn cars ....they are as frustrating as women at times. Have you checked the negative terminal lead at the point where it is attached to the chassis or body? It might need a good clean up.
Is the battery discharging quite quickly? Is it a new one? If an old battery it could have an internal short. A garage can give it a high rate discharge test to see if it is Ok or not.

Starter motor jammed
Buggered relay
Automatic left in drive?

I'm ignorant about these things so that's the limit of my small knowledge . . .good luck old boy . . . .

oh, I did have one car where the handbrake had to be on before the ignition would work . . . .

Now were was that ole crusty rusty red Toymotor again, pride of your fleet that maybe it should have been re-engined.

Frankly I'm lucky I never brought a 4 wheeled machine tho it would have some great purpose getting models to the lake or model plane airfield, only real use for me.
