And this one , interesting to note , reverse thrust on all 4 for the decent . They drop down at anything between 6 and 15,000 fpm ... what a ride that would be.

Nimble as all right cool.gif , nice when they arrive from the ice, they really throw it around the city at low level in the N/Westers.

Tried to duplicate the tac approach in the sim .... but i cant get the engines to reverse inflight .

You may need Pete Dowsons FSUIPC to adjust the your reveres thrust midair, I do recall doing it with the early models in FSX .

There is a rumour floating around on the net that the RNZAF is about to get 2 C-17s (reported on a Australian Defence site) with some sort of tie in with the RAAF.....lets see I guess ....

Be a least maybe to test the feasibility and or to get RNZAF up to speed with operations off the type ... in some sense not a bad idea to share and something you won't use everyday .. lets hope so .
