Its just a shame these animals hide themselves behind innocent people, .... why not just front up on your own and stare down the sniper ..... gutless barbarians , again , assuming your not an escapee from my street in which case you will be shot anyway.

I dont mean to minimize the situation , people could die , and i pray they dont .... but this has to be dealt with quickly, cleanly .

I found it kinda annoying that the media managed to stick to reporting the facts for about the first hour and a half, and then they got bored and moved to all the usual scare-monger tactics -- what could go wrong, is this the end of it all, etc. I don't know if this is regarded as acceptable reporting at 7, or if they just ended up with some hopeless reporters on duty, but it really shouldn't be allowed. The only 'terrorists' I could see were the media.

Exactly the same as what happened in September 2001. The first little while it was accurate reporting then it was anything goes. That guy is obviously a nutter though.

Not quite the same, but a JIBBER JIBBER went roaming the streets in Christchurch, attacked a women with a blade, drove half the way across the city into Hoon Hay road , at that stage no media at all ... Just one straight and level TUFF ASS construction/building worker charged the twit down before doing anymore the idiot, did any more human dismemberment .

Lest we get too chirpy, chaps... there are 2 too many fatalities in this story plus a whole lot of traumatised people.
Nobody will know for sure whether this was a heroic rescue or a botched job, hindsight is always 20/20.
But 100% sure, prevention is better than cure

The scumbag started executing hostages and so the police went in. I think on the face of it they did exactly what they should have done.

So called Botched Job in the USA with the shooting dead by a policeman of a so called 'My Baby" , the guy was caught on camera stealing/robbing a shop .. then charges a Policeman well under half his size almost three times, that was self defence.

If you have been caught up in this sort of shite, me only recent ... the bloody corrections department decide it was fine to put convicts next door , and yes found out over the two plus years, two off them were murderers, speaking to one Policeman , said to me it was not a WHOOPS .. it was planned.

I had a meeting with the godboys who set up the placing off these people - So arrogant they were , ........... I think people really need to open there eyes , there are people out there that simply need to be taken out - TERMINATED - .... forget the "I stole your Vesper" thing .... twit prob had already done that.

Sorry guys. Decided to close this topic before it deteriorates into speculation and/or more entertainment. As Charl said above, this is a tragedy and it diminishes our integrity when we start to use this to make entertainment and comments for our own amusement.
