Well kids , its almost time to kick 2014 out ..... and what a ###### its been for me , but not as bad as it has been for some , for tens of thousands really .
My heart goes out to the families and friends connected to that Air Asia crash ... what a time for that to happen.... not that there would ever be a good time.
But enough doom and gloom .... i can feel 2015 at the door , if you add the numbers 2+1+5 ...its 8 ... a very lucky number , or 20+15 (35) 3+5 ... 8 again .... just thought i would throw that out to the group.
Now , regarding resolutions , as in new year .... i resolve to be religiously resolute , regarding any future , revolutions , revelations, resignations, and revaluations ... regardless of race or religion ........ right .... Isn't "r" a wonderful letter .
I think 2015 should be the year of "R" ..... I hear your collective gasp ... "why not X" ? ....because x is stupid , it makes no sound on its own ...xray is cheating , and before you go there with "xylophone " ... listen to it !! its stealing from Z .
Ok , back on track now .... Happy new year to you all .... i wish you all ,peace and happiness .... nothing else matters. And thank you for all your support and understanding , and tolerance .... i know i pushed the boundary's more than a few times ,but you stuck with me ..... , happy new year.

Cheers, Marty, all the best for the new year.
I've learnt to use the phrase 'on balance' a lot in 2014, yes, it was a year of a few uncomfortable milestones, that's for sure, including the fact that this was the first time in my life I've ever had to go without food for a few days, and I had to give up a few other things during the year, but I also gained a new grandson, and my children are all healthy and happy, so it all works out -- on balance.
But I reckon that I wouldn't complain if the balance tipped a little bit the other way this year. That's my wish for you, as well.
Now I'm off to vote!

It seems strange to assign a human value to an astronomical unit of measure, but for me 2014 goes in the "I didn't much like you" bin.
Perhaps it's to do with the Chinese Year of the Horse - Oops that still has a couple of months to go!

Best wishes to all... 2015 has kind of a "Future" ring to it, don't you think?

Certainly the 'future' in 'Back to the Future II' thought so, since it was set in 2015...

I can remember when I was young, trying to imagine what it would be like to live in the 21st century. I could imagine surviving to 2001, but I did think I would be too old to appreciate it! Turns out you never grow up, even though you grow old.

I couldn't have imagined 2015, so yes, it does seem like the future. But maybe we are just showing our age!

By 2038 .. in the movie world .. we should all have flying cars, course sound recognition security and keyring laser guns for protection.
