Now That Would Be Something To See .. plopping a 747 into Wollongong, pleased HARS got the aircraft

I do like this, .... this is so so cool !

The longest runway at Albion Park is just 1819 metres with a width of just 30 metres. Typically, a 747 lands on much longer runways that are 45 metres wide. In this case, outboard engines 1 and 4 will overhang the grass after the landing. To avoid damaging the runway, which is typically used by light aircraft, VH-OJA will reduce the tyre pressure to 120 pounds per square inch from the typical 208. In addition, taxiways at the airport will be fitted with Tuff Track matting to ensure they can handle the extra weight.

Roads near the airport will be closed at the time of landing to ensure that drivers don't get distracted by the 747's landing and cause accidents as a result. Local residents have also been warned about the landing.

I witnessed a very similar landing in 2006 at Rand Airport(FAGM) , South Africa. Last flight for Boeing 747SP ZS-SPC after gifted to the South African Airways Museum.
Rand Airport is at a height of 5482 ft ASL and runway 11 where the 747 landed 5600 ft long and only 50ft wide.

Knowing Wollongongs airport , this would be an amazing site .. almost a Mission ... forget the traffic .. may also be required to take down the power poles.

I am so loading up the PMDG 747 and trying this one...

EDIT: Ok not the hardest landing in the world, plenty of room, pulled her up before even getting to the crosswind runway...

You know the airfield in Wooly , just how you approach the roundabout right threshold off the runway .. that would have been a sight to see
