Im not sure if this will even show up .... ive been trying to log on (to here ) for hours , and all i get is "Resource Limit Is Reached"
I've been as patient as i can with this new forum thing .... but , what is going on here ??
Maybe nobody can see this ... if so , let me vent my spleen ..... WTH !! ..... and if it does get through .... WTH !!as well.

It showed up. I had the same error the other day

Marty. We discussed this problem during tonights Admin meeting and will continue to monitor. There appears to be some spikes in resource usage on the host server, so we need to find out what is causing these and whether these spikes are the cause of the issue you have experienced. Cheers Deane

Deane, i had this a couple of times in the last few days... do you want us to report when it occurs to help trace the problem?

If you can take note of the actual time this happens and let us know may help us to track down the course of it

Doug, I have seen the 'Resource Limit' message twice, and the random slowness too many times to recall. If it tells me "connecting" for more than about 10 seconds I go elsewhere and come back later. I have not as yet had a problem logging on. On the few occasions where I have had the patience to wait around, the delay has often ended with "This thread has been changed since you started your reply, do you want to continue?"
When I have just 'gone elsewhere' and come back, there is usually a reply timed at pretty much the same time as my attempted reply, so I suspect that is where the heart of the problem lies.
I think we should find out what the Resource Limit is, in terms of logins, multiple simultaneous replies to threads and so on. I notice in the Stats, we had the highest ever number of members on line, on March 8 I think it was. That was Sunday past, and while there was some slowness, it wasn't bad enough to grump about.
It might be worth finding out what impact TS3 has on the overall resource demand of the forum.

TS3 is not connected to the forum server so it will not make any difference to the forum loading speed or resources

Since I'm here a more regular than most, the "Resource Limit Is Reached" has been a constant, even times taking to post even when online or many times double up on messages, I simply edit or delete, this fluctuates all day, I found if I get the "Resource Limit Is Reached" error I shut down the web browser the sign back in and return to NZFF, that has worked 90% off the time.

Wednesday 11th, 2215 got the excceded resource message and couldn't log in
