I will never again question Rex .... or any other generator of weather, after today.
i saw all the Orbx themes , and all the default themes (REX) in 30 minutes, in real life ... amazing stuff.

Pre REX , you meet Gary, I was joking when a Southerly was blowing thru , then I had Active Sky .. pointed to him the cloud .. well it was close enough , funny thing I was in a helicopter , paused tho over my place .. then the Westpac rescue come racing overhead .. both Gary and Paul his son said now is as real as you can get.

Yes, when I opened the back door this morning this was a huge rainbow right outside the door. The ferry trip to Lyttelton was kinda interesting, some amazing clouds rolling by, and you are right, the weather changed completely a few times just in the 10 minute trip. I don't think my simulator could keep up with it, though...

Ian, the rescue chopper was here doing a pickup in the Diamond Harbour sports ground this afternoon, we have an ambulance here, but it is quite a drive around the harbour, so I suspect that the chopper is a common occurrence.

I think I get to see it a lot more regular since it tracks along Riccarton Rd into the hospital , then its return journey back to it base back out a the airport.
