Task Force ANZAC

little late however i was unable to post this early APR

the Image is of 3 Ships, HMA Ships Success and ANZAC and HMNZS Te Kaha the morning after exiting the Suez Canal heading for Gallipoli and the Greek Isle of Lemnos for the Centenary of ANZAC

The name of the Task Force of the 3 Ships was called "ANZAC"

You should see the fun that ensues after they berth at the Naval base, hook up to shore power and forget to switch the ships power from Ship to Shore :P

Water and Electricity really do not mix well .... come to think , that dose bring up some memory's ... don't trust a boss call Gunnar ! :huh:

Nope, trouble is they forget to switch from Ship to Shore power when they hook up to shore power and blow every bloody circuit on the base with the feedback :P

That is strange , I would have thought that must have been seen too and fixed , a similar problem arose when the Humes concrete pipe switched on some off there machines blacking out that specific grid the Sockburn/Hornby area .. CNCs do not like power cuts .. power company response was a "Stiff Bic's" so I could imagine the locals getting up in arms ... be a good tell tale to let ya know the the Navy is home :D
