More Motorcycling stuff from England....

Postby Fozzer » Sat Jun 06, 2015 10:10 pm

Hello Biker Chums...
...and all those wishing that they also had a Motorbike... :wink2: ....>>>

A new video, replacing the previous one on Dropbox:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/vpgz1qib5ufzh ... 1.mp4?dl=0

...another sunny trip around my local countryside, on the 3rd of June, showing the maze of very narrow roads all round the countryside, like a spider's web!
Travelling down them is like travelling down a tunnel of hedges, with some wonderful scenery, up to 20 miles distance, all around, totally obscured by the high hedges!
Meeting another vehicle around a blind corner can be a scary experience, and a number of times I have been forced off the road, into the ditch, by a "speeding" motor car travelling towards me!
These roads are; "single carriageway", with the traffic taking up the full width of the road, so vehicles have to search for a suitable "passing place" to pull in and pass one another....often requiring much "reversing"...
..can result in angry looks, special "signs", and much waving of arms!... ...!
I just nod my head, and smile...politely... ;) ...!

I try to imagine that I am travelling across the open, hedge-less, big sky, breath-taking, desert scenery, of Nevada, Arizona, and new Mexico....

...but its not the same...because of our; "hedgerows"!... ...!

Fire up your trusty steed....and join me for a trip!
(Bring some cheese and pickle sandwiches with you).

Paul... :D ...!

Hells that is a very interesting insight to the UK roads , only enough room .. well for you and the bike , 9.00 min into it simply show .. had I road on these roads .. Auckland City come to mind .. the bush hedges rows .. similar to the mid North Island .. but here much wider and speed much higher , I almost thought I was back in a Battle of Britain movie till a ford Transit pulled out .. :)

Hello, all my fellow Motorcycle Maniacs!.... :D ....!

From my last Sunday's run with the Bikers, from Hereford, (in the land of Good Queen Brenda; England) to Abergavenny (in the land of Own Glendower; Wales), a short video of my walk around the Bus Park where we all congregate/conglomerate/coagulate.

Lots of interesting stuff!...>>>

...makes a pleasant change from bloody aeroplanes every bleedin' day!.... ...!

Paul....Bike it...you'll like it!.... :D ...!

Note: I am limited to 2GB of videos stored on Dropbox, so every now and again I have to delete some, to make room for some new ones...
..so you may get a "404 Not Found" error now and again...if you haven't saved them!... :wink2: ...!

More stuff on two-wheels to come... B-) ...!

When the Dads, (and sometimes the Mums), are out for a Sunday stroll with their small children, they often take a stroll around all the bikes with much interest!
Often when I park my trusty steed outside the entrance to my local supermarket, little boys, (and sometimes little girls), point to my bike with much delight, and get their Dads and Mums to stop whilst they take a close look at it, with all its shiny chrome!
Tiny little boys have a fascination with motorcycles, and it always brings a grin to my face when I spot them looking and pointing!

There certainly is something magic about motorbikes, for both young and old alike!

Every day, I just cant wait to go for a nice gentle cruise somewhere!

Paul....Off to take some more videos tomorrow...weather permitting!... :D ...!
