I've been watching the development and progress of typhoon "Dujuan" , now due to make a direct hit on Taipei (Taiwan) .
Winds at 115kts , gusting 140kts , with waves to 35 feet . Its only moving at 7kts , so its going to be bloody rough for those poor people ... all 2.7 million of them.
I have 2 ex flatmates living there , i hope their ok as i haven't heard back from them for a while.
Makes all the bitching and moaning going on here look like kindergarten play ... so spare a thought.
