I hope they all got out ..... i couldn't find out anything.
Not your problem Ham , but last time i checked , a TU-95 wasn't a jet ... anyway , we know what they meant.

8 june 2015.One of the co-pilots died instantly and the commander of the crew who suffered burns to 75% of the body died two months later.

"In the course of routine training flights during acceleration Tu-95 skidded off the runway. One of the engines blew up and then the burning bomber spun around 180 degrees.

I wonder what caused it to skid off the runway? TU95s quite an old bomber from back in the cold war.

One thing pointed out with the TU-95s and one thing mentioned by western sources, they admired the reliability off the type and its performance, last I read from a Janes Weapons Review there was 43 aircraft, looking at the date here, must be 42 , one off the biggest things pointed out was the engines were used on many types and equaled reliability to a RR dart but on a much bigger scale.
