MARTY'S MARVELOUS LAWNMOWER

Postby Ian Warren » Fri Mar 25, 2016 1:00 pm

Out for some physical fitting and fitness .. Marty's Marvelous Lawnmower .. I sure I'm going to be hurting tomorrow or maybe not .. this lawnmower increased my chances of not having a flip top lid chest cavity, last thing I wanted was a rib spread Op to inflate my right lung .. Its quiet fitting a good ole 1960s LM has now saved me from that, I guess its the physical work and built my upper department were the doc said " If we cut you open you may not more than likely will not return to were I am now.

Now was that the fitting or fitness department , well its fitting to find that was the decision, always hear my old lawn mower bloke hooking into across the road on leaving he saw me and said 'CRIPES YOU STILL HERE' .. Gary then mentioned if you set a push mower up properly you be sweet , he said your a "bloody engineer" SOOooo this feather in my cap this morning decided to give this WICKED machine a tune up ... he mention the sound it should make ... YIP back to my childhood days.

PEOPLES .. anyone for lawn bowls , I really hooked into the mechanics and JEZZZZ .. its always the way , "don't just use it LEARN IT ! " .. anyone up for lawn bowls today .. has to be with Easter Eggs only tho :D

I remember my old "push" lawn mowers from long ago.... :( ....

Trying to mow the long grass with them in the early Spring was a nightmare, and a recipe for a heart-attack... :( ...!

Now...I LURVE my Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower, with its dinky little side-valve, 4-stroke engine!

The only thing missing is a seat, and a steering wheel, and 4-wheel drive!....... ...!

My Baby, (which is listed in my Signature!)*...>>>> http://www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk ... 0cm-317952

Just completed the first of the grass cuts for this year!....Garden looking very nice now!
...just need to trim back all the small trees and shrubs now!

Paul...with green fingers.... :D ...!

* My Magic Box of Tricks:
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

Mowing grass with a push, cylinder mower is the modern equivalent of the ancient art of self-flagellation.....

...trust me... :wink2: ....!

Well some maintenance, blades maybe a little blunt, gorgeous morning with 'MARTY'S MARVELOUS LAWNMOWER' just sharpening the blades, I mowed the lawn three days back, I was a sensation again with the Chinese tourists (one Chinese lady wanted a test drive, then half the bus load did ) ... and off all things a pretty blonde tour bus driver who never seen the likes of it 'Blondes' :D she can park her bus here anytime and we can mow together ... moral of this story Gorgeous , now midday .. let see how I mosey into it ... may require two cuts if that very same tour bus turns up :P
