I was blasting out some Jefferson Airplane the other day, and someone asked who it was -- they'd never heard of Grace Slick, and I mentioned Weodstock -- another blank look. I guess it is ancient history now, but for me it always symbolised the beginning of the modern world....

My real idols from back then are either dead or in their 70s now. I do think that we were pretty lucky to live through that period, the late 60s and early 70s. Pity it now means we are old and past it!

Its only recently, with all today's sad/bad news, that I realise that I passed through the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and 2,000's completely unaware of Drugs and Booze and Death and Destruction happening all around me!

Its a funny old do...
I lived/live in my own private little world, surrounded by nice things.....

...working with electronics in my garden shed, and taking rides on my motor bikes! .... ...!

Like me, none of my Children and Grandchildren ever got involved in; "Bad Things".

.......The music was nice at the time, though!... ....!

Paul.... :D ....!

Yes, I remember the time - there was some great music around, especially the protest songs - and back then, the air was clean and sex was dirty :D
When did it all go wrong?
