Close encounter of the slimey kind
I stalked this bugger for hours today
...finally caught up with him ... it was huge .
I approached from down wind .........
But it turned , and took on a threatening stance ...
We stood there (well , I did ... he hasn't got legs ) ... kind of , eye to eye ....
He changed his stance in a blink ( several actually , but I waited) .... I looked away for a second , and he was gone .... well ... he was definitely on the way ...

Anyway , by the time I washed the car , mowed the lawns and had lunch .... he had vanished
My goodness they are weird things , i know they destroy gardens , but I cant bring myself to kill one .... I relocate them . Pop them into a plastic bucket and release them down the road in the park ... some place shady and damp .

A bit of salt on the tail will do for them - also works on Triffids.
Took off in his/her Snail mobile .. tracking a snail
you do no you could catch up to them , ".. some place shady and damp " damn the garden , reason I went Russian Concrete ... no maintenance
