Tell ya one thing, Bob Hoover past at 94, memory to him , These Other Huge Icons , Bud Anderson and Chuck Yeager still going but, 'yeah' one forgets how simple it is to step off the world.

Well, that is sad news. Bob was a brilliant flier, totally at one with his aircraft. We shall not see his like again; the FAA made them illegal :angry:

They do go overboard with rules and regulations here these days, I guess that was the beginning of thing to come and today's age, but anyways yeah you look at it, there are not many off the GREATS left .. even Buzz Aldrin is of of the last and few with the original Space program , you really wish you could live for ever!
