I came across these photography works of take offs and landing where the photographer, Mike Kelley, has combined many images together to make one new and impressive composite image. I think that many of you will find these to be of interest and maybe some inspiration even!

They do have a lot of detail, but I guess that if you've seen one, you've seen 'em all. For the right market, though, they are probably a good deal.

Then again, I did spend a while the other evening looking through the Facebook page of a certain local photographer, and was totally engrossed -- some nice shots of my part of the world, Lyttelton Harbour, showing the stars at night:) I see a lot of photography portfolios, and it's not often I'm really impressed like I was then. Ian's right, you are a talented photographer, Greg!

I don't know... $1.25 per square inch? About the cost of an aircraft carrier flight deck, I'd say.

EDIT: Err no, actually 5x the cost of an entire aircraft carrier!

Thanks Rob, I appreciate your interest and enthusiasm. It's always nice to get some positive feedback.

Here's another one for you . . . I took this in March but only just got around to processing it. I had been sidetracked by the others I took that night and forgot to come back to this one which I now think was one of the best of the evening!

Lyttelton on the left with Godley Head just showing in the mist. Diamond Harbour and Charteris Bay on the right. Oh yes, that big thing in the sky is the Milky way. :) The white stuff over the harbour is low mist.

Cheers, Greg, hey I can see my house:)
I showed this to my flatmate, and she asked if she can share it on Facebook, so I directed her to your Facebook page -- you have another fan.
