Wildfires in Northern California...

I'll tell you what....

They're having a rough old time of it in California at the moment, with the persistent Wildfires raging around the Vineyards of Sonoma Valley and Napa Valley.

Areas that I am very familiar with; San Francisco and the surrounding areas, Central Valley, etc, having Sim Flown and explored them almost every day since 1995 (Flight Unlimited II, MS, etc).

Every day in England, I "pray" for some nice warm/hot weather, but California at the moment shows just what hot, dry, weather can do in populated areas, surrounded by trees and scrub!

It is unusually bad at the moment, and really is a disaster for all those involved!
