I must admit, spending most/all of my time on my own, every day, I do get exceedingly excited when a really-long-legged house spider come out from the darkness to greet me!.... ....!

Fantastic little Chaps, and I am sure that they are observing and reacting to all my movements!

It's just a shame that we don't speak the same language. I'm sure we could have a long-old chat together!

I just hope that the owners of the friendly Snail, in the BBC article, don't decide to move to France!.... ....!
