Estimates are it could be sold for as much as £500,000,000!

Yes it does take a proper widebody to make a proper BBJ, doesn't it?
I think most of the chaps in the region have at least one new 747 now.
There was one as I recall that had a decent dismount: a glass cylinder containing a private elevator descended behind the nosewheel area.
It lined up perfectly with the waiting Rolls or whatever.

They really are a work of art (747-8) ...and those beautiful engines
But 500,000,000 ..... would go along way helping those poor people in Yemen ...almost next door.
Isn't the middle east is a place of extreme contrast, in a lot of areas.
