A successful day!
Well, this morning the perceived OAT was -1C, so it was out of bed, into the shower, dried off and dressed before hypothermia set in. Then off in the Suby to catch the early train to Bris-bunn. Where I scored the very last blueberry muffin at my favourite coffee shop, then went to the barber's for a trim and had the place to myself while Renata tidied me up and her colleague watched morning TV. No waiting at all. Then back across Queen St mall to the Telstra shop where a charming young lady re-organised my various internet plans (38GB shared, costing $160/mth) to 80GB/mth for the main machine plus 10GB/mth for the tablet costing me $134/mth.
Cost per MB is now 11c, down from 19c.
It's not unlimited - that has to come, and will - but it means I can do a lot more with a lot less husbanding to save some bandwidth, for a large download visible on the horizon
