Myanmar crisis

Ive been holding back on this , but I cant anymore :(
What is going on there! .... Nothing short of what Nazi Germany did in the 30's and 40's, or Cosavo, or any other bloody place where religion and politics meet.
The thing here is ...the world sits with its finger up its arse ...and nothing happens ...nothing, just talk...while tens of thousands of Rohingya people are displaced at least if not murdered.

Let's name the person involved ... Aung San Su Kyi ...a noble peace prize winner!! , a person I really admired until she was released from prison ...now, no better than Hitler and his rabid gang of thugs.

The same applies to Yemen, a Major humanitarian crisis, backed by the US and the shady Saudis ....but I won't go there tonight.

Marty - in early high school, I became very disillusioned about democracy, but when Indira Ghandi was elected, I thought there was still hope for the world. Sadly she turned out to be just as crooked as any other politician. We need to change the system.

Charl and Mike ....thanks for the reply.
I give up .... what is wrong us? (Humans)
I know this situation is global ....I just focused on a small part.
Won't bring it up again, as I said, I give up.

More worried tonight about my partners Mum living in Osaka .... cat get through to her on the phone.
Looking at local Japanese news reports, it looks pretty bad .... fingers crossed.

Marty, from what I see around the 'Net, the power is off all over the place in S. Japan. The simple explanations are often the right ones. Hang in there!
My best wishes to you and yours.
