My very first international flight was on a P-3 ....to Fiji.
I guess museums will be lining up to get one.

In service for Oz for 50 years and then replaced by a drone. What a comedown. Hang on, I've been in Oz for 50 years :o :unsure: :(

Well of course like OZ, NZ has bought Poseidons at some considerable cost.
The drones are supplementary to that.
This puzzles me, flying around in circles for hours seems to be a better fit for an unmanned platform.
Cheaper by a country mile, too.
And I haven't ever heard of an Orion using any of its weapon suite in anger.
