I thought that second shot was amazing ...not the usual Spitfire colours , and those fluffys....just set it off.

Yes, those are certainly beautiful, you are spot-on calling it iconic.
However at the moment I have a Spitty aversion, since I'm trying to model the one on the stick in the shopping centre near the airport....
