I cant shut up about this ...breaks my heart.

I've had an awesome day ...out on the farm (thanks to partners boss) moving cows, feeding the chooks, getting baby chicks sorted after hatching overnight in the incubator ..... moving the goats, and avoiding the bloody arrogant Alpacas.

And then, I got a news alert about a 3 WEEK OLD BABY BOY!!! , with what Detective senior sergeant Greg Turner described as shocking NON ACCIDENTAL injuries....good day down the drain. 3 WEEKS OLD!!
Here we go again  :@ You may or maybe not aware that the United Nations rates NZ as one of the worst nations on the planet for child abuse ...and we are not letting that slip with this one so bloody early in the year.

I won't go into demographic detail on these cases ...but trust me, there is a really clear area of interest.

I just can't get my head around this ... 3 months old!! I understand postnatal depression (I really do) but ..surely by now ....and the dead babies are there to prove it...that area of our society needs. help!!
I don't know the facts, but something needs to be done .....enough lip service ....DO SOMETHING !!

Come on Mrs PM ....you just added how many millions to the tax take with the latest ciggi price increase (another rant for later) ....use it where it counts ...... these poor little buggers are doomed from the moment of conception.

Marty, it is a massive problem here, too, because the protection agencies are woefully underfunded, have no real power to remove victims to a safe secure facility, even if such facilities existed and had qualified staff to run them.
The print media of course only want to sell papers, and other interested parties are quite willing to omit or incorrectly report information provided by the police.
Google mason lee and you will see just how false the reporting can be - CCTV coverage in particular.
I have my own views on this, but I will PM you later.
