No question, it's been proven, woman handle machines on a par with men.(if not better)
How could there be a gender bias with this ....great article but sexist in so much as it highlights the "female" aspect ....or was that you ? (Mike)
Either way, it ended well and that's all that matters.
Years ago I had the privilege of working with (at the Air Force Museum) a lady who had been one of those who flew WW2 aircraft from the factory to an Airbase, wherever.
She was 5ft nothing (which is irrelevant ) and had flown Spitfires, Hurricanes, Defianets, Lancasters, and Stirlings and others she couldn't recall. She was a pilot, nothing less.
I'm not sure if she is still with us.... I hope she is.

Not me, Marty - girls are a wonderful invention - but they
don't get the publicity they deserve.
I saw on the Beeb a while back that one of the last of the WWII RAF Transport Auxiliary ladies had passed away.
