In all my recent years of Microsoft Flight-Simulation, only two craft regularly resides inside my Sim Hangar.
My Bensen B-8 Gyrocopter. >>>> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bensen_B-8
My trusty Cessna 150 Aerobat. >>>> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cessna_150

Both eminently suitable for my daily explorations of the scenery below me at a very low level!

Gyros are fun huh, I like to use it for exploring new scenery, slow and manoeuvrable, that and the Robinson R22
They scare the hell out of me IRL tho at air shows

I'd love to have a go at one... A lot of high time helicopter pilots get them for their retirement. Requires some retraining though.

I had a trial flight once. It was great. I can't believe how expensive they are though. When I were a lad they were cheap as. To be fair, they were dangerous as, too.
It was odd as a fixed wing pilot to go zero airspeed/ 3 or 4 hundred fpm descent (to keep the rotors spinning); just didn't seem right!
