Three US Coulson crew have lost their lives helping our firies. A terrible event.

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Tragic loss, RIP.
Surely the harshest flying environment you can find?
Taxing both personnel and equipment to the limit, which you only really establish once you find it.
The loss of capability also no help with the ongoing battle of the blazes.
